At Shoobridge Funeral Services, we understand that many families wish to make environmentally conscious choices when arranging a funeral. Our eco-friendly willow coffins provide a natural, sustainable alternative to traditional coffins, offering a beautiful and gentle tribute.
We are proud to work with Musgrove Willows, a local coffin maker known for their craftsmanship and commitment to sustainability. Each coffin is handwoven on their farm using natural willow, creating a unique and dignified resting place.
COFFINS & CASKETS
Eco-Friendly coffins & caskets
If you are looking for a ‘greener’ or more natural alternative to a traditional wooden coffin then you will be pleased to know that there is now a huge choice available. We can work with a large number of suppliers to offer anything from wicker to wool and from bamboo to banana leaf. Coffins are also available in willow, cardboard and even recycled paper. Many companies also produce caskets for cremated remains, many of which are bio-degradable and suitable for use in natural burial sites.
If you have purchased or made a coffin yourself then you are more than welcome to use this, provided that it complies with certain minimum legal requirements.
