Unattended Cremation
Our Unattended Cremation service will take place at a local crematorium whereby the deceased is cremated without a funeral service and the cremated remains can be returned to a family member a few days later or scattered in the Gardens of Remembrance at the local crematorium.
Local crematorium include: Exeter, East Devon - Whimple, Taunton, Torquay and Yeovil.
What's included?
The Unattended Cremation package is fully inclusive of ALL charges and disbursements, including the cremation fee and doctors fees. Full payment is required prior to the cremation taking place.
Assistance with the completion of all necessary paperwork and documentation.
Paying all necessary fees and charges, in advance, on behalf of the client.
The conveyance/ transportation of the deceased into our care from the place of death, locally - within a 20 mile radius - during office hours.
Liaising with third parties and statutory bodies such as: doctors, hospital administrators, medical and crematoria staff.
The provision of an oak veneered cremation coffin and engraved nameplate.
The conveyance of the deceased, directly to the Exeter & Devon Crematorium or the East Devon Crematorium, Whimple.
The provision of the necessary staff to effect the funeral on the day.
Preparation of the deceased (excluding embalming) for viewing arrangements and the facilitation of Chapel of Rest visits, during office hours.
Bereavement counselling: Confidential assistance with bereavement counselling, if required. Provision of a bereavement booklet and access to our trained bereavement counsellors between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
