SHOOBRIDGE FUNERAL SERVICES

We have a fleet of funeral cars and hearses to provide appropriate transportation on the day of the funeral.
We will make sure that every part of your journey is accounted for and can provide traditional transport or accommodate any special wishes.
We maintain our hearses to the highest standards. The final journey of a loved one is so important, therefore, we ensure that it is a journey marked with dignity and honour. Traditionally mourners will decorate the hearse with floral arrangements. If you require help with ordering suitable flowers for the funeral hearse and funeral service, then please mention this when planning the funeral.
Our coffins are available in a wide range of sizes, styles and finishes from simple veneer to solid wood Italian designs in both caskets and coffins. American-style caskets are also available in both wood and metal. Special requirements –such as the addition of a crucifix or Masonic insignia- are no problem.

A PERSONALISED SERVICE

A horse-drawn funeral creates an additional sense of occasion, allowing family and loved ones to say their goodbyes in a personal and caring manner. As a family-run business, we pride ourselves in putting extra care into each and every funeral. Using a horse-drawn hearse allows you to create a truly special day and with our team, we can tailor your selection to personal preferences.
With the carriage being pulled by either two matching Friesian horses or two white horses, the horses can be tailored with drapes and black or coloured plumes. Each horse-drawn carriage has glass windows in which you can display personal mementoes and flowers to surround the coffin.

We are able to assist with bespoke hearses, including options of a trike hearse or a sidecar hearse, so as to truly reflect their passions.
The planning of your loved one's funeral can often mean you will want to tailor each moment to their personality including their final journey. We believe it is always essential that the final goodbye is always dignified so allowing mourners the chance to show their final respects.
Each hearse is carefully designed to incorporate the standard fixtures and fittings you would find on a conventional hearse, so there are lighting and wreath rails allowing for flowers and other personal touches to be added within the windows for mourners to view.
Every biker has their personal favourite bike, so there is a variety of different bikes to choose from to truly tailor the day to your loved one's passions.

CUSTOM SEND-OFFS

For some families, a tractor funeral can be a meaningful way to reflect a loved one’s personality, passions or connection to farming and the countryside. If tractors played an important part in their life, using a tractor and trailer to carry the hearse can provide a particularly personal and memorable final journey.
Shoobridge Funeral Services does not provide a tractor for funeral services, but families are welcome to use their own tractor and trailer if they wish. We can work with you and the chosen driver to help coordinate the arrangements and ensure the journey is carried out with care, dignity and respect.
Whether it is a working tractor that was part of your loved one's everyday life or a much-loved family vehicle, incorporating it into the funeral can create a fitting tribute and a final journey that truly reflects the person being remembered.
