SHOOBRIDGE FUNERAL SERVICES

"We work with local church administrators to create personal and caring funeral arrangements
for the deceased and their loved ones."

Situated in the village of Sidbury in East Devon, the Church of St. Giles has a history dating back to Saxon times, with further additions and changes being made in the centuries since.
Underneath the church's chancel is a Saxon crypt that was built in the 7th century, which is historically significant as one of only six in the whole country. The crypt is open every Thursday afternoon during the summer when guided tours are provided for visitors.
St. Giles's Church is one of six churches within the Sid Valley Mission Community, which includes the churches of Sidmouth, Sidford, Salcombe Regis, Woolbrook, and Sidbury. Both St. Giles's Church and Sidford's St. Peter's Church are within the parish of Sidbury with Sidford with a shared vicar. As part of the Sid Valley Mission Community, the church offers a broad selection of worshipping traditions that they follow to know Christ.
The local congregation also take part within local events held within other Mission Community churches, including concerts organised within Sidmouth's Parish Church.
Sid Valley Mission Community puts on a wide range of events to encourage younger individuals into their congregations, with special youth outings, 'Messy Church' gatherings and Soul and Fusion youth groups.
