Human beings are chatty. We love to gossip whether that is to make plans, decide our next holiday or regale a story from years ago. The part we are not so keen to talk about is death and dying. At Shoobridge Funeral Services, we recognise the importance of having these conversations and we are creating a safe space in our chapel where people can come and ask questions, share their wishes or just start the thought process.
Our events are tailored to people from all walks of life and in very different situations. We want to support those who want to explore the often-taboo subject of death and dying; likewise, we want to be there to help people who are going through a period of loss in our monthly bereavement groups.
At Shoobridge Funeral Services, our duty of care for families does not end on the day of the funeral; we provide ongoing care for as long as they need us. Our door is open and our kettle is ready to make that cup of tea to sit and chat over.
But we recognise the reassurance and comfort that meeting other like-minded souls can bring.
It’s not just good to talk; it’s vital to talk. Pop in and see us.
